Hello!
In connection with the events in the world, we are concerned about the possibility of further work with Jira of our Russian performers.
Our company is located in Israel, but there are performers in Russia and all over the world.
What is the prospect for the accounts of our employees from Russia?
Can we bypass plugin blocking for them if our company is based in Israel? We can provide documents. We planned to pay for premium access.
How can we pay for subscription renewal if our company is located in Israel?
Initially registered to Russian mail

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

The official response from Atlassian is what Scott and Mike wrote.

On a technical level:

  • Yes, you will have problems with users in Russia
  • No, there's no easy way to bypass blocking.  (techies like us can, of course, work out all sorts of ways around it.  But it's not easy for our users)
  • Stuff that runs in Israel will continue to work.  Unless it tries to talk to Russia
  • Cloud apps may stop working (for Russian users)

For now, I think it would be a good idea for you to change ownership of your accounts over to non-russian email addresses.
