I work for a large organization and our current Dev/QA team consists of about 150 people total. With such a large team, we need an easy way to communicate and also report QA issues (not UAT or Prod).
That said, when a QA team members finds an issue (function testing) in the lower environment what is the Jira Best Practice to communicate these? Today we use subtasks today.
We have been asked if the issue type of Bug can be used. There is a concern here that QA testing issues found are not really 'bugs' and if we use the issue type of Bug for these it can be confusing, event if we use other custom fields.
Any suggestions on this topic? QA issue identification/reporting vs UAT/Prod?
Thank you!!!
