Provide the option to disable / remove the "Group" button on Jira boards

As Scrum Masters or Agile Coaches, we spend a lot of time working with teams to create board layouts that are most appropriate for the way the teams work.

However, the "Group" button at the top right of boards allows team members to completely override this and, in extreme cases, every team member could be working off a completely different view of the board.

We understand that there are situations where changing the grouping may be appropriate, but could you at least provide an option to disable/remove it at the project or board level?

You can ask your Jira Admins to open a support request directly with Atlassian to ask if a comparable suggestion exists.

You can also click on the Help button (the question mark) near your avatar in Jira and use the Feedback option under it to submit your feedback directly to Atlassian.
