Project space does not appear on my home space

Hello everyone, 
I started to get familiar with Jira and i would like to use for tracking issues that I identified in different EDS Suppliers, but I cannot create a project, this option is not available for me, and I do not know who I can contact for access, It does not appear in Customize sidebar.

Hi ecauhute,

In Jira Cloud’s new navigation, Projects are now labeled as “Spaces.” That’s why you no longer see “Projects” in the left sidebar.

• If you don’t see Spaces, open Customize sidebar and enable it.
• If you can’t create a space, your Jira admin must grant the required permissions.

I agree with @Gunjan Kumar  your side bar can be customized.

Projects are now called Spaces.
