Project lead not able to create new release on JIRA project

I have team managed project, and I have assigned one of the engineer as lead of that project but he is not able to create the releases on his own. He is not displaying the button of create release.

He/she must have the Administer Projects permission. There are plenty of open issues which want the separation of certain permissions. You can vote and watch any of them,

From where I can get him Administer project permission?

@Nikhil Jagshettiwar go to cog > system > global permissions

There you have to see to which groups he/she belongs to. Then make a decision about:

• Whether to add him/her to an existing group which have that global permission
• or create a new one, put him/her on that group and then give this group the specific permission
