Project deletion - Jira server 7.13.5

All - looking to do the following:

- move a subset of issues from one service desk project to another 
- delete one project

I want to verify that the data will remain in the db even if i delete all tickets from one service desk project.

Hi @Shannon Lyon 

When you delete a project from the UI it will be removed from the db. You may want to hide it from users using the Permission Schemes. Just create a permission scheme with no one in the "Browse projects" permission except admins.
