Product backlog grooming - best approach

One of my activities as product owner is to groom the product backlog - ie classify the different outstanding issues such that a prioritization can be distilled.  

That classification requires to label the issues with an appropriate business value, product impact, development effort and so on.

I'm wondering how others are using Jira to do this grooming.  Are you using any add-on?

It's an interesting question! Even within Atlassian, there are different answers for different teams. Earlier this year, the Jira Mobile team posted about Groom your backlog like a boss with Jira Software.
