From some time I haven't received any email notification (about 3 months). I checked the settings and I have enabled notifications options.
My friend had the same problem and it turned out that there was a suppression on message to his email address.
Is there a way to check if I have the same problem and possibly remove suppression?

Unfortunate not on Atlassian is able to see this. This would require you to reach out to them.
You would need to switch temporarily to the cloud standard plan (14-day trail). Raise an issue and after it's resolved, switch back to free.
As you are not able to get Atlassian support on a free tier.
