Problem with adding Jira chart to Confluence

To preface, I am a new administrator and really don't know anything about JQL and have no development experience.

I'm trying to add a Jira chart to a Confluence page, but when I add the macro I can't get my project to show up. I've tried pasting the URL into the tool and using project = ""

I ran this issue by a developer with extensive Jira experience and he had no idea what the issue might be.

Hi @Alexander Akhter   - What you will need to do is to link your Confluence with JIRA so the projects from JIRA are pulled into your Confluence. Here is an article that gives a little more insight into what I am trying to say. Enabling Application Links to implement what you are trying to do is documented here. You will be needing the right permissions on the JIRA side of things to be able to bring back results onto the macro.
