I've started with this Content Pack as my baseline for a JIRA report in PowerBI.
When logged on, it pulls data up to today from JIRA, which means it is working and connected.
However, I want to only pull data for a single Project from JIRA.
I followed these detailed steps, but it resulted in this error:
I then updated the project name to another name of a valid project on the same JIRA sever and it then loaded that project's issues.
When I take the full URL in the error message and open it in a browser it loads data, so the rendered URL is not incorrect.
I tried this with various projects: some pulled through, others resulted in the same error as above.
I couldn't determine this 100%, but it does not seem related to the type of project (One KANBAN project will load, the next one won't; same with Agile/SCRUM projects).
I've tried to decrease/increase the "FetchPages" pagesize to see if that would solve it (the Content Pack standard is 500).
What could be the reason that some projects do not want to pull into PowerBI?
(I'm not the System Admin of the JIRA server, but I want to troubleshoot this as far as possible to that I can provide the person with the steps to take to rectify this, should it be a JIRA issue (e.g. a tick-box to allow the data to be read) etc.; hopefully this is a PowerBI / query issue and I can solve it myself)
Thank you!
Hi, have you found the solution to this issue?
I am currently experiencing the same.
Unfortunately not, sorry.
