I don't have this opcion:

screem-opcion.JPG

I have permiss of Administrator:

permiso-administrador.JPG

If I have those Export options, but the csv does not help me because I have to convert that format to an excel with a header and divided into columns, which makes it take me longer to have a simple list ready that I previously obtained exporting in excel.

I really don't understand what data you need here, it was the Equifax corporation who was in charge of the migration, I work for them. Sorry, but I don't know exactly what other data I can offer you: https://equifax.atlassian.net/jira/your-work

I am very grateful for your kind and prompt attention.

Hello @Maribel Diaz

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Can you please confirm which system/site you migrated from? Also, can you provide us with the import process you followed?

By the description of your issue, I believe you might be facing one of the following scenarios:

1 - Some of your project permissions were removed from your user during the migration

Ask your site-admin to navigate to the projects you are not able to administer > Click on Project settings > Permissions and check if your user is properly configured with the Administer projects permission. Optionally, he can use the Permission Helper to check the permission.

Once you are added with the permission, you should be able to edit your screens and add new fields by:

  1. Navigating to the project > Project settings > Screens > Add the field to the screens you need
  2. Under Project settings > Issue Layout, drag the fields to the sections of your issue view

2 - Your data was migrated to a Next-gen project

Next-gen Projects are a different set of Projects in Jira. It provides you with a simpler solution similar to Trello application, as described in the documentation below:

Learn the differences between classic and next-gen projects

To add fields to screens in those projects:

Navigating to the project > Project settings > Issue Types > Select the issue type you need and drag the fields to the sections of your issue view

The export functionality to Excel should be available to all users on the Issue navigator page, however, PDF can not be exported in Jira Cloud, unless you were using a third-party app that provided you with this functionality previously. To see the export options you have, you can click on the header Filters > Advanced issue > Check the top right corner of the page:

Hi @Petter Gonçalves thanks for your answer. But I work to Equifax and they are the that do the migration. I have permiss of Administrator in two projects; of which I am Project Manager in one and in the other Product Owner. Before the migration I could add some field in the Edit and Create screens of my projects, now I can only select the order of the fields and hide the existing fields but I CANNOT ADD a new field.

I see that my projects were categorized as Classic. f I enter where you tell me, which is where I added the fields before, it does not allow entering to add or remove a field.

The export options that they left are very basic (excel in csv format) and they are not useful at all for the management of status sheets that I already did before.

My question is that and who should solve this problem that occurs now and what prevents the editing of the screens in classic projects?

Thank you very much.

Hello @Maribel Diaz

Thank you for the details.

Please, provide us with the following details so we can better troubleshoot the issue and confirm we are on the same page:

  1. Maybe a cache issue should be causing the problem. Try to open your site on a different browser and using incognito mode.
  2. Once you opened your site in incognito, can you provide us with a screenshot of what do you see under Project settings > Screens? Scrolling down to the end of the field list on that page, you should have a drop-down to add new fields. Please, try to click in that drop-down and send us a screenshot of what do you see.
  3. Fill the Permission Helper under project settings > Permissions with the following info and send the screenshot of the results you got:
    1. Any issue of your project
    2. Your user
    3. The administer project permission
  4. Can you send us a screenshot of the exact export options you got when clicking in the export tab of the issue navigator? By default, Jira provides you with the following options:

  5. Since we don't have any information from where your data was migrated from, you can be searching for a feature that might not exist in your Jira Cloud site today (Some third-party app, Jira Server feature, etc). Could you please engage your site-admin or someone who worked in the migration so we can have more details about this?

Thanks!
