Populate custom filed reported date automatically

Hi, I want to populate the reported date for any Jira issue as the created date(when the issue is created). Is it possible without automation rules? We do not have automation rules enabled in our organisation.

You can try workflow post function:

Copy Value From Other Field

Give the Reported date custom field in the transition after the issue is created.
