Populate contact fields from a custom text field

Hello,

We are testing the creation of jira tickets via Microsoft Power Automate (Flow). Unfortunately, Power Automate only maps to Jira fields that are text type.

I would like to populate some native Jira fields (Reporter, Watchers, etc.) from a custom text field that contains an email address.

Has anyone tried this or have suggestions?
