In team-managed JIRA datacenter project, how to create a rule whenever a work item is closed or resolved, it pops up to ask for summary of resolution
The short answer is that you cannot do that in a team-managed space. TMS only have one screen/layout and you cannot add additional ones. This can only be accomplished in a company-managed space were you can associate a transition with a screen.
Thanks for the reply, Michael. If a pop up to ask for a summary is not possible, is it possible just to generate a fixed pop up a reminder message to remind the user to write a summary comment? Furthermore, is it possible to make the issue not go into Done or Resolved status unless the summary comment is provided.

A validator in the workflow will prevent the issue from transitioning without a 'summary comment'.
