Please enable the New work transition experience for our site as it is visible but can't enable

Hello Team,

We are currently using Jira Cloud with ScriptRunner Behaviours, and we need to implement behaviours on the transition screen (e.g., hiding fields based on other field value in transition screen).

However, we are unable to use this functionality because the required feature — “New work transition experience” (UI Modifications API) — is not enabled for our instance.

In our Jira Labs settings:

• The feature “New work transition experience” is visible
• But no toggle option is available to enable it

As per Atlassian documentation, behaviors on transition view only work with the new transition dialog.

Good day! I checked your site and I dont see any Jira service management product for https://hdfclife.atlassian.net. Please select Jira under "Which app is this for" and proceed with support ticket creation.

Atlassian is moving these experimental controls out of personal settings and into global admin views.

Have a Jira Admin check this path:
Jira settings → System → Beta features → New work transition experience

Yes, indeed, ScriptRunner transition Behaviours require this new UI to function. If it’s disabled globally, those scripts won't trigger.

If the option is missing from the Beta features page entirely, your admin will need to open a ticket with Atlassian Support to flip the backend feature flag for your site.
