Plans - can I add a new epic into a plan once the plan has been set up?

Hi,

We're using plans for progress tracking, but we will be working to add new epics at certain timepoints as/when appropriate. 
Will these epics automatically pull through into the plan or do we need to manually add these into at a later date?

Also not every epic we've added has pulled the stories through,  how do I make sure all stories associated to epics have been pulled in?

A Plan is a representation of issues based on hierarchy in a timeline.

Based on the source of the plan a new epic is automatically visible in a plan or not, so check the source of your plan.
