Planning with breaks in Jira

I wonder if the following is possible within Jira.

I have machines setup which need testing. So an engineer plans 2 weeks (example) for testing the machine. However other people might be needing the machine for something else then the machine won't be available for one day, or other way around the engineer might be needed to do something else. Now what I need is that the planning moves along with the "sudden events".

Is this possible? Could someone link me to some documentation perhaps on how?

It sounds like you need a planning calendar, not an issue tracker.
