Permit multiple votes for only some participants.

The following use case applies to me. A slide poll is being participated in by several participants. I want to restrict users from voting who haven't been invited to do so, AND I need to give several votes (two or three) to only a select few users, but "standard" users should only get one. Can it be done?

You can't out of the box. Anyone who can see the issue can vote, and only once. There may be a plug-in that allows it.
