I'm having an issue where pasting won't work unless I paste 2 or 3 times in quick succession. It only started a month ago or so. To cap that off, undo doesn't undo the paste - it undoes the text typed prior to the pasting. So, you type a sentence, copy some text form somewhere, try and paste it and it doesn't paste so you hit paste 3 times but then it pastes in multiple times, then you hit undo and the multiple pastes stay and the sentence you wrote prior to that disappears. I can't log a bug report for some reason - so I'm raising it here, hopefully a developer sees it and can fix this behaviour.
Its important, because I can't choose to use other software - I'm stuck with the seemingly proprietary input box atlassian provides despite being in a browser which has its own text area which works fine.
Here is a video demonstrating the issue:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7jbPk1EuAA
In this video, I am in the "Create issue" UI. I type some words (one two three four five), then I use arrow keys top go back and highlight "four".
You can see that I hit CTRL-c (shows as C-c on the bottom of the video), then move back past "five" and hit CTRL-v - and nothing happens, I wait a second or two and hit CTRL-v again and nothing happens, I wait another second and hit CTRL-v and nothing happens, then I hit it 3 times in succession and finally "four" pastes 3 times.
Since I didn't want "four" that many times, I hit CTRL-z which removes the last thing I typed - the space in front of "five" and before the "fourfourfour".
I hit CTRL-z again to demonstrate what happens and it removes the "ne two three four " part leaving me with the "o" from the first thing I typed and the "ourfourfour" from the pasting.
