Parent filter in JIRA Lists page is only listing sub tasks but not linked child work items.

If we apply parent task filter in Lists page of JIRA project it only shows sub tasks of given parent. But we can have linked work items in the same story marked as child work items. So, given parent child relationship, filter should return both sub tasks as well as linked child work items.

I understand what you are hoping for, but it does not work that way, unfortunately. Parent-child relationships are different than work item links.

Searching for linked items in Jira is not very well supported out of the box overall.
