Is it possible to get the parent and subtask in the same view?
Here is the user case:
Developer for the most part work at the subtask level.
Product/QA and others are interested in tracking the status of the parent.
There is no easy way to get a view of the status (swim lane) of the parent ticket in any of the Dashboard views. The subtask filter is the only one that displays subtasks, but it hides the status of the parent card.
Update: Atlassian responded and there's a pending request for this feature. Feel free to vote on it: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-18064
Thanks for the suggestion. I tried the plugin it, but it solves a different problem. What I'm looking for is to view the status of the parent ticket and subtasks in the Dashboard view. I added a screenshot to the original post.

Oh! I think it was possible in old view as per this issue - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWSERVER-5397
Have a look.

we need it in the next-gen board not the classic board. there's an open request for this: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-18064

I agree. Classic Jira displays the sub-tasks on the board and allows a filter to hide sub-tasks.
