×Our team have recently started to encounter a problem with page focus on saving changes in description
On tickets with a relatively long description and with comments, if we make an edit in the Description, and scroll down and Save, on save the page focus jumps to the middle of the comments section.
This is really annoying and disrupting workflow
I can't see that this has been reported and wonder if any other Jira users are encountering the same
Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
I’ve investigated and can confirm that I’m able to replicate the same behaviour you described—when editing the description, the screen scrolls downward unexpectedly.
To address this, we already have a feature request: JRACLOUD-95089.
The request is currently in the Gathering Interest stage, which means we’re collecting votes and additional use cases from users before our team reviews it. I encourage you to visit the suggestion page, vote, and add yourself as a watcher. This way, you’ll receive updates and progress notifications directly.
For more information on how our Development team handles new feature requests, please see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

@Kerrie were you able to get this to resolve? Did you try clearing your cache or using another browser? Is it happening to everyone?

No this has not been resolved
Clearing cache made no difference
Using a different browser is not a viable solution however I can confirm that the same thing happens on Chrome and Edge but it doesn't occur with Firefox as far as I can tell
I can confirm that my colleagues are also affected
It is highly inconvenient to myself and the other Business Analyst both when editing/writing stories and during refinement when screensharing
