PLEASE HELP - JIRA SERVER PRODUCTION DOWN

Abhinav Arae July 16, 2019

Hello All,

Jira Production instance was down and we see this Error in the Atlassian Jira logs:

2019-07-16 07:33:57,722 http-nio-9000-exec-34 ERROR 430315 439x400187x149 pns1n2 10.53.81.190,127.0.0.1 /issues/ [NoModule] There was an error getting a DBCP datasource.

Can this be due to " <pool-max-size>20</pool-max-size>" in the DBconfig.xml file? This is MySQL.  Please suggest.

Thank you.

Hello Mikael,

Thank you for your reply. Your solution is not helpful to fix the issue currently. I would like to know the exact root cause looking at my Error above.

Thank you.

You've not given us enough log to work out a root cause, although I suspect you're going to find a simple "Cannot connect to the database" error.

You should be able to follow it through the docs Mikael points to to be able to work it out.

Hi,

can you share longer version of log via code block or service like Pastebin?
