Hi Team,
I have a JIRA project in which I create multiple issue types from emails.
Emails sent to abc-support@mycompany.com will create abc-support issue type in project Support.
Emails sent to xyz-support@mycompany.com will create xyz-support issue type in project Support.
The issue creation works well as I can mention multiple incoming emails per project. However, in both the above cases, notification emails will be sent only from a single id. Is there an option to enable multiple "sender address" based on the issue type, so that replies will automatically get updated to the original ticket.
Thanks,
Dipu H
Hi @Dipu Haridas,
Natively it is not possible to configure different outgoing emails based on issue types. You can check for any third party add-ons. However, it is the native behaviour that whenever a user response to the email Id the comments will automatically get updated to the issue.
Thanks,
Sravya
Hi Sravya, Thanks for getting back. I believe, the replies will be automatically updated to the ticket only if there is an in-coming mail handler configured with the same email id with which JIRA sends out the email.
Thanks,
Dipu H
