I am logged into my account and can see all issues, but my team members cannot see my account and cannot assign me issues. Basically my account isn't showing up to others so I can't be assigned things.

Are you working with a Team Managed project or a Company Managed project? It will say at the bottom of the navigation pane on the left.
For a Company Managed project, in the Permission Scheme there is a permission called "Assignable User". You need to belong to a user group or project role that has been added to that permission in that project's permission scheme in order for other people to see you as available in the Assignee field.
