Order by | Sorting not working for Swimlanes !

Hello,

I am trying to use Swimlanes to order tasks and epics on my boards using JQL äccording to the A to Z of either summary or the parent field. But that doesnt work, for example when i try to sort the tasks according to the summary, I used the following JQL :

It didn't work and it didn't order the tasks by summary as shown on the photo.

Hi Osama.

Your board filter is the one that controls your sorting method.

You can't sort in swimlanes, only define what you want in them.

There is multiple reasons for that, but the primary is that issue ranking will screw up.
