One of our engineers stopped receiving notifications - in going through the notification helper, we verified that notifications are being sent to his address - we verified that the SMTP server is also sending the notification out - yet he does not receive them
He uses GMAIL so we confirmed that he does not have any filters blocking these notifications
Any suggestions on what the problem could be?
turn your outgoing email logging on and check that the email is being sent. If so the problem is outside of Jira.
check you can manually send email to configured address.
ask user to check spam folders

Checked that as well and we did not find any changes to any of the projects, groups. access, accounts within Jira

@Umesh TopraniIt is not one of the best practices to use Gmail or Hotmail or any external email boxes. Internal information is being sent to a site you don't have any control over.
Can you think of any last change made to a group, project or notification scheme?
