Hi All,

Can somebody tell me how can I change default template for notification emails sent by JIRA?

At the moment they contain Assignee, Due Dates, and Creation Date (and some other stuff of course). I need to get rid of those fields so they will not be included in the automatic email that is being sent out to users.

Please help.

Hi Morgana,

Thanks a lot for trying but our JIRA is hosted externally and I do not have access to its directory. Therefore, I cannot do it like that. At least that is what I was told.

Any other solutions?

Hi Chris,

The reason for that is because you're using a JIRA Hosted solution freom Atlassian and, as per our documentation, assisting with customisations of email notifications is outside the remit of Atlassian Support. If customers can supply properly edited notification templates, and recognise that the customisations will not persist beyond upgrades, then we can host them. However this doesn't apply to JIRA Studio where customisations are not permitted at all. The reason this request has been directed to Answers is our policy on unsupported issues. Hopefully the knowledgable members of the Atlassian community will be able to assist you in customising your notification templates so that we can install them for you.

All the best,

Joihn
