Not able to mention users anymore

Hi there... I used to be able to @mention anyone who was on our JIRA account, but now I am not able to mention anyone (even myself). I tried creating a team within JIRA and that worked (I can mention a team) but for some reason individual users is broken all of the sudden. 

Any assistance here would be great!!

Hi @Nicholas Falldine 

Mentioning users is part of the browser users and group permission. Try to see if you belong to a group which do not have this global permission.
