We are not able to login to our development instance of Jira.  It is running on Windows with a SQL DB.  Using AD credentials users get a message of "Sorry, your username and password are incorrect - please try again."  I do not know the local admin to the application server to login and investigate what is going on with the LDAP connections.  Is there a means to reset the local admin username/password in the DB to allow us to logon locally to investigate what is going on with AD integration?

Thank you,

David

Hi David,

Yes, there is a break glass solution. Assuming you still have server access, you can run Jira with a special startup parameter to allow yourself to login and debug the issue with the AD integration.

The instructions are here:
