Not able to filter based on the custom field

Hi Folks,

I have added a custom field to my project in the Jira, but am not able to filter the issues based on the custom field. As I am getting notifications stating that  "____ is not applicable for the current project and/or issue type user search".

I am a new bee to jira..Please help.

Hi @kiran gowda ,

Perhaps the custom field that is created has no association to the project and issue type screens. Try adding it and enter some values and then run a search.
