Not able to add the pipe character in the dropdown field option (label) in Confiform

I'm trying to add my team names as dropdown options in confiform, using dropdown field type. The team name includes the pipe character in b/w the name e.g - xx|yyy

After saving the configurations, only xx is left in the option and |yyy is truncated. How can I populate the complete team name?

Hi @Rohit Rana 

This is somewhat tricky, as the pipeline is used to store and separate field values for dropdowns internally

You can either switch to smart fields (smart dropdowns), defining a new form to store your teams information and then use it through the smart dropdown in the current form

Or remove the pipe character from a team's name if you prefer to continue using the simple dropdown (with values defined in the field configuration)

I followed the suggested procedure. Same issue with the Smart Dropdown field type.

Looks like the only option is changing the names of Team(s) i.e.- Removing the pipe character.

Indeed, the same issue as with having a simple dropdown. We will fix that, as this should not be an issue really
