You might want to look at your notification scheme and see who is getting all the emails.
If you can't see any reference there that might send the email, there could also be an automation present, but I'd starti wth the notification scheme.

There are a couple of ways you can build this, like Jira automation or notification schemes. 👈
Now, probably the best recommendation would be, if you have an internal Atlassian/Jira admin, to reach out to them and try to troubleshoot or build this with them. This should be a fairly simple request (either to add or remove this behavior), so they should be able to handle this.
