A week ago JIRA prompt a message that our jira version 7.0.2 has reached end of life.
We then notice the interface is different from before as there is no more Board for the projects and unable to get it back.
Since 7th Feb all jira users also stopped receiving email notification on jira items changes that they are watching.
We tried upgrade to version 8.22.1 but there are multiple errors like our Jira Service Management license expired 3 years ago, MySQL version not supported etc.
We do have active Starter License for Jira Software and no issue running it these years without Jira Service Management license.
What license do we actually need here? And can we bring back the board and email notification?
This could be all sorts of things - having a version which is no longer supported means it could be a range of bugs/errors which have been rectified in one of the multiple versions since.
I'd recommend...
...and then see what problems remain.
You could also try contacting Atlassian support, and see if they have a record of potential bugs/errors in your version to be aware of? Contact them via: https://support.atlassian.com/
