Next gen - Can I link two next gen projects together?

Deleted user May 22, 2020

I have a next-gen project for long term and high level goals and the development team have another board to breakdown the tasks for each sprint.

The development team's board will feed into my board. Is there a way to link the stories/epics from one next gen project to another?

The only linking I seem to be able to do at the moment is linking stories together within one project.

Do I need the 'Classic' projects to be able to do this?

Thank you!

Hello @[deleted]  and welcome to the community!

If I understand your question correctly, yes the "classic" projects would be best suited for this. What you are describing is very common when using the classic projects.

There is no way to link projects to show in one board.

Thank you very much for your welcome and reply @edwin vasquez , I was able to link two boards on next-gen - I have editing rights to the development team's board as well as my board and in the comments area on my board I can link it to another.

I'll see how helpful it is going forward but just in case it's useful for anyone else to know too. Thanks again
