Next Gen - setting default value for priority field

Is there a way to change the default value for the priority field in a next gen project?

In Next Project. Go to the Project settings -> Issue types -> Click on the priority field. There is an option to select the default value.

Is there a way to make this the default behaviour for a type of issue? Eg all Tasks having Priority displayed across all Projects?
