Next-Gen projects: Can Epic have stories in multiple projects to track cross-team work?

I have a very common use case - 1 Epic that sits in one project needs to have stories that are implemented by many other teams. These stories, therefore, need to be in the team's own projects.

That used to be possible before we switched to using the Next-Gen projects.

I understand we can make a fancy automation with issue links and Advanced roadmaps to surface the information, but that seems overly complicated for something that used to be available.

Hi @aleksandar.mitev and welcome to the Community!

No, next-gen or team-managed projects (as they are now called) are restricted in scope to a single project. You cannot link child issues to epics in another project (or the other way around).

Hope this helps!
