Hi,
I have just stated to explore Jira Next-Gen, and I really love the clean and clutter free workflows. Good work!
I have a question about the ticket states – Backlog (Passive), Doing (Active) and Done (Passive). Is it possible to have more states that is classified as Done? I need to distinguish between Done and Rejected, but I'm currently allowed one Done-type state in the project, as far as I can tell. The reason I want to do this, is to be able to get Done and Rejected tickets off the board to clean up.
Kind regards,
Ketil Moland Olsen
Hello Ketil,
Welcome to Atlassian Community.
Unfortunately, you can not add multiple statuses to the done category in next-gen projects as you need, however, we have opened a feature request to implement it:
- Ability to customize status category in Next-gen projects
Please, add yourself as a watcher and vote on this feature request to be notified about any updates and increase its priority with our development team.
For now, you can use a custom text-field to differentiate a Rejected from a Completed issue, adding the status done for both of them.
Let me know if this information helps.
Thanks for your reply, it’s appreciated. I will definitely vote for this feature. For now, the workaround you suggested seems like a reasonable options.
Thanks again!
Regards,
Ketil
