We have setup some automated JIRA creation using markdown. Using markdown tags like headings and bold face work fine. However, new line character '\n' does not work
I tried multiple suggestions from the forum including '\\' or '\' or <br> but none of them work. Is there any way to make new line work in JIRA description during automation or while importing issues through CSV
Hi @Deepak Srinivasan ,
Welcome to the community !!
1. For new lines while importing
-- There are already bug created JRACLOUD-65671 and JRACLOUD-65671
Please refer to the workaround mentioned in JRACLOUD-65671
2. For new lines in Automation
-- Just hit "Enter" from keyboard where you need the new line in automation rule.
Thanks for the reply Rizwan. I could not find any workaround in JRACLOUD-65671. Can you please check ?
