I edited the standard workflow and updated the active sprint's board with the new columns but only administrators can see the new workflow. The Sprint was already active when I made these changes.
There is no way to do that. A workflow for an issue type does not vary by group or rights.
You'll need to look more carefully at what your users can see. My best guess is what you really mean is that you've put conditions on a workflow such that admins can do more than average users, and my backup guess would be that you've drafted a new workflow but not published it (in which case, your admins can see it in the admin ui, but the issues are still using the old one, irrespective of who the person is)
Thank you for the reply. I may need to take this up with my company IT as I do not have any control over those permissions and it's a corporate account. I did publish my changes and my workflow conditions are quite liberal. As I mentioned I adjusted the sprint board with the new workflow items which you cannot do unless you publish it first. In viewing my Active Sprints I see the new workflow and have issues in place. Its the regular users who see the default workflow.
