I am a working project manager, mainly using MS Project. However my client started using Jira and I want to understand the foundation concepts and workflows. How can I use in my work.
Can someone help me with some walk through study guide?
Is Jira for Agile or can be used in waterfalls?
Thanks in advance...
Hi @A Sarkar ,
Welcome to the Community! Jira is a very versatile tool that can be used for any methodology, Agile or Waterfall. Some of the basic trainings and documentation can help understand how to use it to adapt to your processes. Jira helps plan and track tasks, and manage workflows. It can also integrate easily with other tools, like e.g. Confluence for documentation, Github or Bitbucket for version control, etc. And with Jira Service Management you can create interfaces and workflows for incident management.
