A few weeks back, I noticed that Jira's Slack integration was updated to utilize a new preview panel, which includes a "Preview in Slack" option, that opens a sidebar with additional details about the issue. Here's an example of the new previews we started seeing recently.
The issue is that when we click on the "Preview in Slack >" text to open the details in the Slack sidebar, the view that is displayed shows a "Project Access Required" error message. We have been using Jira's Slack integration for years, without issue, and I have verified that the "atlassian-addons-project-access" role has all the permissions it could need for our project. We've never had issues in the past with Slack being able to display issue details or to make changes from the previews (add comments, assign issues, etc), so what gives? Is there a bug with the integration, or do we truly need to adjust our project permissions (which have worked without issue for years)?
This new feature seems really nice, assuming you can actually view and manipulate issue details directly in Slack, and we'd love to be able to use it!
