New custom field (checkbox) doesn't return any results in the JQL query

How long should I wait for reindexing to pick it up?

Anyway to show the Unchecked (not required) checkbox on the issue form by default?

Try "Release Notes Candidate" is EMPTY

Thank you. It worked after some time. I had to wait for re-indexing to complete after checkbox was created.

Checkbox has only one value Yes. No defaults. Simple query I am trying to run includes "Release Notes Candidate" != Yes.

No results.
