New Jira view doesn't have the old view's 'Attachment' button

The new view for Jira doesn't appear to have a way to re-insert an already attached picture to the Description field. The picture, for example, is already attached to the Jira item but I cannot drag the attachment from the Attachments and drop it into the text. Also, there is no button to do so.
I know I was able to do this in the previous view so I reverted to the old view and used the button highlighted in yellow below to do so.
Perhaps there is another way to do this, but if not, is there a plan to re-add this button in the new view? This has been very useful especially in cases where the user unintentional deletes the image from the Description field.
