New Jira Software Interface

In the last couple of weeks the Jira interface has changed such that my project space no longer has a backlog or the ability to create sprints.  The feature toggle for the backlog is missing and the sprints option is greyed out, preventing me from re-enabling these features.  Has anyone had a similar issue and resolved it?

Is it the same scrum board that was working earlier?

Do you know whether the board's filter or project access changed recently?

Is it impacting only you or also other users?

@Clare Simpson is there an active sprint for the project?  If the answer is yes and your project is not setup for parallel sprints then the button will be greyed out.  Are you the owner of the scrum board that you used to use?

Can you share with us the type of Space this concerns? Click the ellipses button next to the Space name in the navigation panel on the left. Tell us what the last two lines in the pop-up say.

Can you share a screen image of the tabs you see across the top of your space?

It is only in Team-managed Software spaces that the toggles to turn on the Backlog and activate Sprints exist. This is still present in my Free Jira subscriptions and found through Space Settings > Features.

If you are not working with a Team-managed Software Space then there is not a toggle for activating the Sprints option. You must have a Scrum Board created for the Space to get access to Sprints and the Backlog.

Did you downgrade to the Free subscription from like a Premium/Standard trail?

The Free subscription has less functionality than paid ones.
