In a jira issue, when I click "Add" I can only link an existing confluence page.
I want to be able to create a new one too as shown in the tutorial:
I have connected confluence to the jira project
Hello @Samuel Gfeller
Do you have permission to create pages in Confluence. Can you go to Confluence and manually create create pages in it?
Hi, thanks for the reply.
Yes I can create them manually and I'm also the only user so I presume I have all available rights.

What type of project is the issue in? Get the project Type information from the Type column on the View All Projects page under the Projects menu.
The tags on your post indicate you are using a Free subscription for Jira. Is that accurate?
Do you access Jira and Confluence using the same Atlassian Cloud login?
Have you tried using a different browser application, clearing your browser cache, or using a private browser window?

The project type is "Company-managed software". Yes free subscription and yes the same account. If I create the page manually in confluence I can add it via +Add Existing Confluence content.
Now, one day later the button appeared! On the same browser without clearing cache. Thank you whoever fixed the issue in the background.. or maybe it was luck.. or the dark mode that I disabled.
And thank you @Trudy Claspill for sticking with me and helping.

Issue resolved itself with time or there was someone in the shadows that helped.
