Need to restrict edit functionality for only sub-task

Hi Team,

We need the users to be restricted from editing a sub-task. That is only jira-admin should be able to edit the sub-task, others should be able to only view it.

This change we need only in Sub-task and not in other issue types in the same project.

Could you please help me here

Is this globally, or only in a particular project?

In that case you could apply a special workflow to the sub-task type and apply a property to each status that says only members of the admin group can edit that ticket.
