Need to create a basic structure, like Departements and then some required sub folders or similar.

Need to ensure these structure objects isn't possible to remove or change. Also need some tags automatically adderad to the text objects/records posted within the given structure. So a post always will be easy to sort out using these tags.

Another way to describe my needs is to say, we need to ensure a post within a specific structure always will be sorted out properly from time to time.

So what is possible to manage?

Hi @Thomas Malmberg , welcome to the community and thanks for your question!

I have understood you want to set up a custom project structure.

There are different ways of doing this.

You can have different Issue Types which have an inherent hierarchy.

So, for example, you could have a standard issue type called 'Department' that can have one level of hierarchy of work breakdown structure underneath, of Subtasks. You can also create a custom Subtask type issue type, if you wanted. Issue Types are system components and therefore it wouldn't be possible, from within the project, to change their names or attributes.

You could also have a custom field for this. If the Department should act like an attribute of an Issue Type. For example, if you have a group of issues, like Tasks, and they should each have a different department, that you want to be able to sort on later, in reporting, a custom field is ideal for this.

If you can provide some more detail, perhaps we can offer more specific advice but I hope this helps you get started.

Cheers
