Need some helps to do a dashboard

Hi all, i would like to have  some jql request to do my statistic about the tasks of my team. For example, i want to know a totaly of  the number of tasks and the rest to do in my backlog.

Jira relies a lot on "filters".  Search for the issues you are interested in (and this is often as simple as "project = X"), and save that as a filter.   You can then use the filter in a LOT of dashboard gadgets to represent the data in different ways.  The "created vs resolved" gadget is a good one, but I usually find "filter statistics" and "2 dimensional" can be vastly more useful.
