Need help recovering deleted Jira projects after automatic inactivity deactivation

Hello Atlassian Community,

I had a Jira Cloud Free instance at:

soportedelafile.atlassian.net

In March I received an email warning that the subscription would be deactivated due to inactivity, but I did not see the email in time.

Today I recovered access to the Atlassian organization and the Jira site still exists, licenses and users are still present, but all projects/spaces appear empty.

I already checked:
- Active projects
- Archived projects
- Trash

Everything is empty.

The organization and tenant still exist, but the Jira data appears to have been removed.

Is there any way to request recovery of backups or restoration of deleted Jira projects for a Cloud Free site after inactivity deactivation?

Any help from Atlassian staff or community moderators would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hello @soporte-delafile

Welcome to the Atlassian community

To get an authoritative answer you'll need to contact Atlassian directly. You can do that through the following page:

https://www.atlassian.com/company/contact/purchasing-licensing#/

For the options choose Your account then the Reactivate option.

After deactivation due to inactivity for a free site Atlassian typically permanently deleted the data in 15 days. They generally don't keeps backups that enable restoration of individual Free subscriptions, as that level of data management is the responsibility of the customer. As such, it is unlikely your data can be restored at this point.

Good luck!
